A lyrical film exploring landscape, light, and memory. The footage was made in 1998 on my Bolex 16mm camera in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where I spend time each summer. Edited in camera while I recorded, the footage was made the year before I got married. The roll of unedited footage is itself a body, a timeline, and a flow that I experience in this green woodland, before and after Ted.  ​​Eva Kierten describes her music as ‘not concerned with narrative, drama or linear progression, but simply with motion, like the perpetual movement of stars around a fixed pole. ' The scattering of her notes across silent darkness allowed this footage to shimmer.
