Knithoughts 1999-2002 thinking into knitting

 

Knithoughts is a conceptual exchange project that took shape in different iterations. In one version, I solicited thoughts from the general public in a gallery context and sent their thoughts back in knitting through the mail; a gesture of witnessing the line of thought through ephemeral and material notation.  Variable sizes, generally 3"x8". In other iterations, I knit my own thinking.
